St Edmund's Catholic School, Portsmouth, 11-16 Mixed VA School.

St Edmund’s is a popular Voluntary Aided secondary school in the heart of Portsmouth and serves a wide area. It is an Outstanding school (Ofsted 2016) serving a diverse population.

The school is currently recruiting for the following Support Staff vacancies:

  • Wellbeing (Trinity Suite) Co-Ordinator.
  • SEN Administrator.

Wellbeing (Trinity Suite) Co-ordinator (REF: TS26)

Pay Band 6 (and development to Band 7)

£27,363 - £35,235 (Pro-Rata £24,942.43 - £32,118.06)

37 hours per week, Term Time Only + 2 Weeks over the year

Hours of Work: 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday (8am – 3.30pm Friday)

Start Date: February/March 2026 Onwards

 

The successful candidates will be caring and enthusiastic and will have a genuine commitment to supporting the safety and welfare of pupils throughout the day.  The candidate must be educated to at least GCSE level with a Counselling qualification. 

 

The role is term time only with two weeks over the year.

 Great development opportunity and relevant training can be provided.

 There may be some flexibility with working hours.

SEN Administrator (REF: SEN26)

 

Pay Band 4-5 (Depending on Experience)

Hours of Work: 9am – 2.30pm (Monday to Friday), Term Time Only

With a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

 25 hours per week

£25,201 - £28,239 (£14,768.26 - £16,548.58 Pro Rata)

There may be some flexibility with working hours

 

Start Date: March 2026 Onwards

 

The successful applicant will need to be committed to the requirements of the School.  They will need excellent word processing skills, to be flexible and able to work under pressure.  Experience of Arbor and of a school environment would be desirable.
